Scope & Applicability

• Marketplace Model: Trade Containers OÜ operates as a marketplace that facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or ship containers.
• Product Scope: This policy applies exclusively to the sale of shipping containers listed by sellers in container depots.
• Buyer Agreement: Buyers understand that they are purchasing directly from a depot and must arrange collection or transportation themselves.

Order Process & Payment

Refunds are processed based on the type of membership plan:

• Order Confirmation: Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received.
• Payment Methods: Buyers can pay via credit card (processed by a third-party payment provider) or bank transfer (processed by Trade Containers OÜ).
• Order Confirmation Notification: Buyers receive confirmation via email upon successful payment.
• Cancellations: Orders cannot be canceled after payment is made.
• Inspection Before Payment: Buyers have the right to inspect the container before making the payment. Once payment is made, the sale is final.

Shipping, Delivery & Ownership Transfer

• No Shipping Service: Trade Containers OÜ does not arrange or provide shipping services.
• Depot-Based Sales: Buyers agree to purchase shipping containers directly from container depots.
• Ownership Transfer: Ownership transfers to the buyer at the moment of payment confirmation.
• Inspection Before Pickup: Buyers are responsible for inspecting the container at the depot before finalizing pickup or transportation.
• Pickup Deadline: Buyers must pick up their container within 7 days of purchase. Failure to do so may result in additional storage fees imposed by the depot.

Return & Refund Policy

• Final Sales: All container sales are final and non-refundable.
• Condition of Containers: Containers are sold as is, and Trade Containers OÜ is not responsible for discrepancies between the listing and actual condition.
• No Returns: Buyers cannot return containers once they have been picked up from the depot.
• Dispute Handling for Misrepresentation: If a container's condition is misrepresented, Trade Containers OÜ will moderate the dispute but is not responsible for compensation.

Seller Responsibilities & Penalties

• Misrepresentation Penalty: If a seller is found repeatedly misrepresenting containers, Trade Containers OÜ will issue a warning and suspend the seller after 3 complaints.
• Listing Removal: Sellers are allowed to remove a listing if the container is no longer available.
• No Mandatory Condition Reports: Sellers are not required to provide a standardized condition report, but they must accurately describe the container's state.

Taxes & Additional Fees

• Buyer Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or depot fees associated with their purchase.
• No Automatic Fee Disclosure: Buyers must review any potential additional costs before purchasing, as there will be no disclaimer before payment.
