Listings & Transactions

• 3.1 Listings: Sellers may set their own prices. Listings go live immediately without prior approval.
• 3.2 Transaction Fees: Buyers will be charged a platform fee upon purchase. Sellers may need to subscribe to a membership plan.
• 3.3 Payment Processing: Trade Containers collects payments from buyers and disburses funds to sellers after successful delivery.

Payments & Refunds

• 4.1 Accepted Payment Methods: Credit cards (via a third-party processor) and bank transfers (processed by us).
• 4.2 Refund Policy:
  • Monthly Memberships: Non-refundable.
  • Yearly Memberships: Refundable for unused months if no transactions occurred in the last month.
  • Failed Deliveries: No refund will be provided to the seller if a delivery fails.
• 4.3 Payment Disputes & Chargebacks:
  • Buyers must submit evidence (e.g., photos) within [X] days to dispute a transaction.
  • Trade Containers' moderation team will investigate disputes.
  • If a chargeback occurs via a credit card processor, the processor will handle it. Trade Containers is not responsible for external chargebacks.

Shipping & Logistics

• 5.1 Shipping Responsibility: The platform does not handle logistics; sellers are responsible for arranging shipping.
• 5.2 Shipping Companies: There is no restriction on which shipping companies sellers may use.
• 5.3 Liability for Damages: The seller is responsible for any damages incurred during transit.
• 5.4 Pickup Option: In-person pickup is not supported.

Marketplace Conduct

• 6.1 Prohibited Listings: Sellers cannot list hazardous containers or containers that violate trade laws.
• 6.2 Off-Platform Negotiations: Buyers and sellers must not bypass the platform for transactions.
• 6.3 Rating & Reviews: Currently, there is no rating or review system.

Live Chatting & Privacy

• Live Chatting Rule: In the live chat section, publishing any company or personal information is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this rule will result in a permanent ban, preventing the user from accessing the site in the future.

Intellectual Property & Privacy

• 8.1 Ownership of Content: Trade Containers OÜ does not claim ownership over listing photos or descriptions.
• 8.2 Data Collection: We collect and store user data necessary for platform operations.
• 8.3 Data Retention: User data is retained for 6-12 months after account deletion.
• 8.4 Third-Party Sharing: No user data is shared with third parties, except for payment processors.
• 8.5 User Rights: Users cannot download their transaction history before account deletion.

Legal Compliance

• 9.1 GDPR & CCPA Compliance: We comply with data protection laws applicable in relevant regions.
• 9.2 Export Restrictions: Sellers are responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade laws.
• 9.3 Age Requirement: Users must be 18 years or older to use the platform.

Account Suspension & Termination

• 10.1 Reasons for Suspension: A seller’s account may be suspended or banned due to:
  • Consistently failing to deliver orders.
  • Providing false evidence in disputes.
  • Engaging in fraud or misconduct.
• 10.2 Ban Notification: Users will receive an email notification if their account is banned.
• 10.3 Appeal Process: Suspended users may appeal within 7-14 days by submitting relevant evidence.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• 11.1 Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes will be handled in Turkish courts.
• 11.2 Mediation Requirement: Before taking legal action, parties must attempt mediation.
